Can anyone share their experiences with Dockers chinos? Like are they true to size and longevity
Their size chat is looking promising. Size 30 has 32.5 waist which is good considering i managed to achieve a 30 inch waist. Material is 95% cotton+5% elastane
I've heard good things about them but unfortunately they are only available online and it'll take a bit of a long time to get the pants delivered... Another option is Gap essential straight taper which I'm not sure about the quality because they closed the business in india then somehow it's handled by Reliance or something and I've heard that quality has significantly dropped.

if the measurements line up with another pair of paints that fit you, you are probably in the clear in terms of fit. i don’t personally like buying chinos with elastane, i think all cotton is more durable. but that’s just my preference. i have good experience with thrifted pairs of both Dockers and Gap pants but can’t speak as much to their new models online now
It's really difficult to find 100% cotton, most of them have 2% spandex but some of them don't stretch despite having elastane or they barely stretch. Another option is celio that is very close to fit me perfectly. Recently i bought "Next" chinos and they are really comfortable but the main problem is that the waist is big and smaller size ain't available and I don't think it'll be because they import them.
totally understand! was just giving my 2cents but if the pants work for you and the measurements are right it’s worth a shot!
Thx for sharing your experience!
In the second image I'm holding the waist with my hand
If i order slim or skinny, that's how much difference it'd be in the measurements. Everything is in 'inches'
Slim/Skinny
Hip - 1.2/1.5
Rise - 0.7/1.2
Thigh - 0.8/1.8
But the thing is that slim fit will cost 2x... Skinny fit is on similar price but they haven't mentioned the leg opening. Quality is amazing! And there's a a small pocket inside with a zipper which is really useful for me!
