Is this the right length?
Hi there, I recently bought these cargo's. I like the design and fit but expected them to be a bit longer, I can't wear them any lower on my waist. Is this too short? thanks

I think only you can decide if they are too short. There is no way to extend them so your best bet would be finding different pants
So fashionwise or objectively I would not be butchering the 'rules'?

So no, its not against the rules. You'll notice that most of them are wearing a considerably wider pant cut than yours. That has been a popular choice.

there's not really an objective rule to fashion, you aren't going to be arrested for wearing cropped pants
what's most important is how you feel wearing them and how much they meet your expectations

yes I agree, I'm pretty new to this hobby. Imo the falling over te shoes goes way harder but I might have to get used to cropped, so thought some opinions about it should help yaknow

if you want styling advice or buying advice you can always ask
especially if you're new
imo it can really help to have a look you are going for when you are aquiring new clothes
instead of going in blind and seeing what sticks
its a lot less expensive haha
so look through #waywt , #inspiration , other inspo albums online, seeing what people are wearing in person etc
and try to replicate/modify other people's looks to your taste
designing your outfits/wardrobe is much easier when they are iterative
yes it's nice to have a space to discuss the same hobby lol. I feel like I do have a sort of style and look I'm going for, that helps. Been looking for alot of inspiration on youtube and this server like you mentioned, but finding clothes that express me as person and fit my body type well can be hard sometimes haha
