I need some fabric and a fit suggestion.
Well from my experience, little bit shrinkage is bound to happen on natural fabric like cotton so it's better to buy clothes that are kinda 5-10% larger from your desired size. What do you think? And if something has like 1-2 spandex then going for the right size is ok? I've some chinos with 2% spandex, they were a bit tight when they were new but now they are a little bit more comfortable and have more room... Is it because of the Spandex? Losing weight can't be the reason because I'm gaining weight haha. Regarding the wash, I'm considering normal wash care, like using room/weather temperature water+ normal dry without any heat ( it's called tumble try ig) ...
There are some expectations.for example, I bought a pair of jeans and it has like 98 or maybe 98.5% cotton+ 1.5% spandex and guess what happened? It shrank like 1-2 sizes, at the beginning, they were comfortable and i needed to cuff once but now? I can't put them on, even when i was in a fat loss, it was difficult to put my phone in my pocket, length is perfect but they were too tight, i have worn them only few times that's why they have been washing cycle very less and it was normal cycle, like i wash my all jeans ( cold water, tumble dry, then hang them in my house, away from sunlight )

in most cases the measurements of clothes factor in things like shrinkage and mobility
use the size chart against an item of clothing with your desired fit, then order that specific size.
different fabrics will behave differently as you continue to wear and wash them, usually a little looser in the case of 100% cotton
the jeans shrinking might be a consequence of those specific jeans and how often you washed them - you might find this helpful in "restoring" them https://www.wikihow.com/Unshrink-Jeans

Unshrink Jeans
It feels great to find a pair of jeans that fit just right, but it's not so good when they unexpectedly shrink in the dryer. Shrinkage in denim jeans is pretty normal and can often be reversed. The most important thing to do is make sure...
Thx a lot! Btw which method would work best?
only one i've tried was the baby shampoo which worked decently though i think it depends on the jeans
Normal shampoo wouldn't work?
i assume you want as gentle a shampoo as possible
i do not think so but you're welcome to try 👍
Thx a lot man! I'd definitely try it!
