How can I use pacman command in Bazzite
Hi guys, I am new to Bazzite and quite new to Linux, so I want to downgrade the mesa driver, gamescope..etc which for my GPD win2 to run gamescope.
However, I only know using pacman command to do that on SteamOS but seem I can do that on Bazzite terminal.
May I have anyone help on this case? thanks

pacman
is for Arch. Bazzite is Fedora-based
why are you already wanting to downgrade stuff?
is it broken out-of-the-box?to be 100% clear, you cannot downgrade mesa and should not have to
let us know what problem you're having so it can be solved the right way.
umm, don't know how to explain clearly, so the GPD win 2 is using Intel GPU ( in Intel Core M3-7Y30). Before I install bazzite, I tried to follow a guide to install SteamOS on it, and it will have issue to launch gamescope but no problem to boot in plasma desktop.
so the work around on that guide is downgrade few thing to make it work. So after I install bazzite and try get into game mode, it had the similar issue, only plasma desktop working
so this is the link of that guide, and go to "Step 4a: Fixing Gamescope and Intel GPU (On Win 2)" :

Gist
SteamOS3 on GPD Win 2 (via recovery image)
SteamOS3 on GPD Win 2 (via recovery image). GitHub Gist: instantly share code, notes, and snippets.
The reason that I gave up the SteamOS is because I can't get pass the initial update😔
this is putting the cart before the horse, and the horse is actually a reindeer
so no way to do that I presume😔
you should ask in the GPD discord, someone managed to get it working on bazzite
it required a fairly old version of gamescope

look at the bazzite script
Oh great, thanks for this, I will try that in the morning 👍
Tried the script and working perfectly fine, thanks.
But the screen orientation in game mode was not correct, may I know how I can change that? Thanks
probably a karg, something like this:
change the panel_orientation accordingly
