There is no pc which will just "not" let u turn secure boot on
i mean i could do it but it messes with my monitors or something
Unless ur motherboard is like from 2005

Can't rly think of what is keeping u from enabling it properly
Did u disable csm before enabling scure boot?
Also wdym by secure boot messing ur monitors up?
wel thars the thing if i disable csm my main monitor doesnt work anymore
They should have basically no relation with each other
Huh
ikr its confusion ash
confusing
So wdym by "doesn't work"
it wont show
Does it show a black screen or what?
only my second monitor turns on
What about ur other monitor?
Uh huh
my main monitor wont get any input
only my second monitor works then
when i enable csm it works again
also when i disable csm the bios wil go bugging out like idk how to explain it
it glitches on screen for a second then its back to normal
Are both of ur monitors connected to ur gpu or is 1 connected to the motherboard?
both to the gpu
one display and one hdmi
maybe its my gpu that makes it bugged?
ive got an rtx 1630
A what?
:val_KekwSob:
nvdia
dude i needa upgrade lmao
but it works for low end games for now ðŸ˜
There is no gpu called rtx 1630
hu?
gtx mb
U mean a gtx 1650?
why does it need secure boot anyways
i mean yll still beable to cheat even with it on lmao
For vanguard basically
Makes it harder for people to hack
yea alright but it wont stop them
but yeah what am i supossed to do now there isnt any work arounds right?
Nothing can stop hackers completely uk
Have u tried doing a bios update?
Using a usb to plug ur monitor?
its the latest version already
Changing the port of the gpu u r using for the monitor
usb to plug my monitor?
i could try that but itll be weird if thats the case
as it works with csm
but without it it wont
Hdmi*
ill try that thanks for the help
if it wont work ill just not play ig lmao
prob need a new motherboard anyway
How old are the monitors btw?
i dont know where can i see that
Should be able to tell by just looking at them
Also can u boot into the bios once
I wanna just make sure
Use ur phone to chat here

Alright what now
Advanced mode

Mb for the quality my cam sucks
Csm config module
Also if u could record the glitching it does when disabling it
I’ll try
Well it doesn’t glitch anymore
But it seems to keep booting in bios on my second monitor
Every restart
It wont let me into windows
Why u restarting?
Save and quit out of bios
I turned off csm and turned on secure boot
Then save and exit
Go back into the bios
Yeah lol it still here it wont let me in windows
Keeps booting in bios on my second monitor after every restart
Disconnect ur 2nd monitor
Pull the cable out
Get into bios on the main one
After pulling it out nothing is happening
Still not showing on my main screen
Pull ur main monitor out, connect the 2nd one
It does on restart though
It’s on my main now
Although I restarted
Ok stay on ur maij
Main
Is bios showing?

I also had to put my bios in user mode or something before idk if that has anything to do with it
Disable csm for now
Disable secure boot
Boot into windows
Enable csm*
Oh I booted into windows with both disabled
Want me to go back in bios to disable csm?
Did it boot with csm disabled?
Oh
Yea
Plug in ur 2nd monitor
Valorant still wants me to turn on secure boot bdw
Alright
I plugged it back in
Are the monitors working fine?
yeah
Yea so its a mobo/bios issue
Can't boot into windows with secure boot enabled
i mean when secure boot is enabled it wont let me in windows
yeah
so what now i just cant play?
There prob is a fix
When did u update ur bios?
i actually got this pc 2 weeks ago thats when i updated everything included the bios
Open disk management

one 100 gb ssd with windows 11 and 1 tb hdd for games n stuff
Right click on disk 1
Properties
Volume
Show ss
Do the same for disk 0
Hm all that should be fine
U can try contacting asrock support
@Saucywan got any ideas?
its so weird though i dont get why it wont boot with secure boot
Secure boot makinh the pc unable to boot
boot order is also normal in bios
U can try setting the bios settings to default
yea ill try that
Then enable secure boot back
And disabling csm ofc
Also
When u make them default
could it also be that when secure boot is enabled it tries to boot onto the hdd first and fails then boots into bios?
Boot into windows first
Then boot back into bios
Disable csk
Csm*
Boot back into windows
Then boot back into bios
Then enable secure boot
Can be, but it shouldn't boot through the hdd at all
Just do the above steps and lets see what happens
alright
It does the same it won’t change
After enabling secure boot or disabling csm?
After enabling secure boot it wont boot into windows
With it disabled there is nothing wrong
Go to bios again
Then boot
Remove the 2nd boot option
tbh im kinda tired of it not working thanks for the help anyways
i really apricate it
ill look into it again tomorrow maybe but for now im done lol
hm
What monitor is your main one?
aka The one that doesn't work when csm is disabled
Both of em work with csm disabled
:Eat:
1 shows black screen when turning secure boot on and the other keeps booting into the bios
some other guys issue was gpu
try removing your gpu plugging your monitor straight to mother board
with csm off and secure boot enabled
if that doesn't work then he's prob right and it's a motherboard issue
It is a fairly old gpu, tbh
@wizardeyes try that ^
omg I said smth smart?
impossible
made in 2022
but ive tried everything so far it just wont boot into windows with secure boot
i got a feeling its an ssd problem
but i dont know how
try the thing i said
it shuld prob work
Also how will it even show display
@wizardeyes do u have an igpu?
pretty sure his cpu does
could be wrong tho
3400g has amd vega igpu you are right 🙂
yeah i think so
i got this cpu from my family for free so idk what it truly is tbh
considering the price on used market its quite ok
any sugestions for upgrade though? my powersupply is only 350 watts and i kinda wanne get a new gpu and you said my cpu is good right so i shouldnt upgrade it
you have a 3400g and a gtx 1630 right so the thing is valorant always benefits more from cpu however your fps will be held back at some point with the 1630 not to mention the 350w psu limits upgrades a lot so depending on a few factors like budget, prices in your area and age for the rest of the system you have quite a few options
