No audio output from USB Soundcard in Proton games / native Linux games work fine?
Hiya, I'm new to Linux but tried 25+ different distros finally settling on Bazzite OS as my daily. <3.
I work in music professionally so have an external USB Soundcard (Lynx Aurora 16N) which is working fine in the desktop environment (latest Bazzite OS with Gnome) and even in native Linux games. However, if I try to launch a Steam game like Chivalry 2 using Proton for example with the Lynx Aurora plugged in and turned on the game crashes. Other Proton games launch but play no audio. With Chivalry 2, the only way I can get it working is if I unplug the USB soundcard and then the game works with audio over HDMI to my TV. Unfortunately, there is a load of unwanted buzzing and interference so I would much rather use the USB soundcard with Proton games if at all possible?
I guess a few questions I have would be:
1. Is there an easy fix to this software wise?
2. If no to the above, would buying a Focusrite usb interface solve it? (I hear they are very compatible with Linux?)
Thank you in advance for any assistance and congratulations on Bazzite I absolutely love it and its so nice to be off Windows finally!

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
So, I've done further testing and I even have perfect audio from my usb soundcard (Lynx Aurora 16n) in Ryujinx and Xemu. I can only conclude therefore that the problem is indeed with Proton as any Linux native games also work great! Is there a config tool for the audio output of Proton someplace?
