can’t connect to geysermc
So I recently hosted a Minecraft server off of my computer. I can connect to it when I’m on my home internet (via geyser) on a lan game, but not when I am on another network. For Java I type in the ip and port together and on bedrock I just separated them into the ip and port areas yet it doesn’t work. Why could this be? Fabric 1.21.1

Did you port foward to connect from other networks?
So, as understood correctly: you can join on java from another network but not with bedrock, right?
Yes I port forwarded and I can connect in Java
Correct
Did you port foward the bedrock port too?
I need to port forward both?
yeah
That’s what I was afraid of. I assumed that was the issue but I was hoping there was something else I could do
also remember to port forward it on UDP and not on TCP as bedrock runs on udp
Oh okay do I need to like link it to the Java port forward or anything or can I just do the same thing I did as Java?
You can do the same thing as what you did when port fowarding the java port, however instead of TCP do UDP
On the Java one I did TCP/UDP
then you can do it like this on the bedrock one too
theoretically
Theoretically?
yeah
depends on your network setup
Ah
but it should work like this if it already does for the java port
Alright. So the port I do for bedrock is 19132 if I’m correct?
Yep!
if you have it like this, yes
Alright. I’ll try to set it up.
Thanks guys
Alright! Try it and let us know if you need help during the process :)

Anytime!
Also, just a side note. When you are done use: https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to check if the port is open.
Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router
Port checker is a utility used to identify your external IP address and detect open ports on your connection. This tool is useful for finding out if your port forwarding is setup correctly or if your server applications are being blocked by a firewall.
It works now. Thanks again!
