How to couple two trains together
Title, how does coupling work? I tried making a couple station, giving it a redstone input with two trains with both having couple blocks touching and nothing happens. The ponder doesnt really explain it.

Not sure if such a simple question really needed a forum thread but I know servers get angry when you ask even simple questions outside forums so
remember that middle of the bogies need to be on the pads

While messing around with it, idk when but it did something but it also deleted several blocks from the carriage
So the two pads have to be exactly under bogeys? I cant have different sized cars?
u can use wrench to change the distance between the pads
Workable but bit disappointing for my dream of dropping off and picking up cars without leaving the engine
u can use redstone link and redstone controller
Also is it normal for blocks to get deleted when decoupling? My car was a 4x3 with 2 couple blocks on it before decoupling
no... they shouldn't get deleted
could u please send a log?
Also I assume youre not able to have controls facing opposite directions? Bugged my character out when I tried to access controls
Also gave a message about the cars splitting off but they were still connected
Depending what angle I looked at it, the connection would or wouldn't render
