Raid 0 disk problem
hi, i just upgrade from windows to bazzite and i have all of my games and important files on a disk using raid 0, can i somehow acces that drive and use it normally? or do i need to format it and all of my data will be gone

that depends entierly on how the raid was made, most likely it will be a no as i am only familiar with setting up mdadm raid and zfs raid (through truenas)
i would migrate all that data OFF the raid 0 because keeping important data on raid 0 is a loaded footgun ready to trigger for that data.
i found something called ldmtool that can read raid0 drivers
would that work?
no idea, not familiar with it as i never used windows dynamic disks
you wouldnt be able to utilize ntfs anyway for your games in bazzite. neither we nor valve support ntfs as a game library filesystem in linux
allright, then can i somehow merge those drives back together in linux?
after data wipe etc
i would never recommend raid 0 for anything unless you want data loss
okay but still is it possible on linux
mdadm is used for raid in linux and is very well documented
i know nothing about making something compatible with windows though
if you do want a shared filesystem for steam games between windows and linux then we recommend btrfs
as there is a windows btrfs driver on github
GitHub
GitHub - maharmstone/btrfs: WinBtrfs - an open-source btrfs driver ...
WinBtrfs - an open-source btrfs driver for Windows - maharmstone/btrfs
but again i highly do not recommend raid 0
