Inconsistent controller input on Ally X
I've been following RetroGameCorps tutorial of how to install Bazzite on the Ally X. I have controller emulation to be DualSense. I've tried simply rebooting. Not sure what the cause is. Anyone else that has had this issue? Anyone know any fixes?

did you already try adjusting deadzones in steam input settings?
and does this issue happen on windows, or is it bazzite only?
if it also happens in windows, then it's likely a hardware issue
(i'm assuming you dual booted)
I went into the
Test Device Inputs
under Controller
in Settings and it's showing me my left analog stick is stuck going to the bottom left :/ thanks for the tipkeep me updated, let me know if you figure out what the issue is
I'm just assuming the issue is HW related. I didn't dual boot, I just wiped the drive and only installed Bazzite. But I'll try installing Windows and see if the device still has that issue
doesn't hurt to try this, but maybe also try changing the controller emulation in hhd a few times
from xbox to dualsense, etc
Tried switching to various different controller emulations.

still has my left joystick stuck at the bottom left cornersounds like it could be hardware then
Please verify the issue in windows first. I would like us to not generate unnecessary RMAs for Asus
I can also guide you through some more manual testing
I am reinstalling Windows right now. Will keep y'all updated
Yeah. I loaded up a game and there's still stick drift
So hardware issue. Well at least it's not a bug π
yeah as Aru said, hardware issue, i would RMA that ally x asap π
