Error installing emudeck
Hello, I'm getting an error on first install. My last install went fine, but I'm running into this error:
[08/06/2024] mkdir -p $HOME/emudeck/ && cd ~/.config/EmuDeck/backend/ && git rev-parse --is-inside-work-tree
[08/06/2024] error: Error: Command failed: mkdir -p $HOME/emudeck/ && cd ~/.config/EmuDeck/backend/ && git rev-parse --is-inside-work-tree
fatal: not a git repository (or any parent up to mount point /var)
Stopping at filesystem boundary (GIT_DISCOVERY_ACROSS_FILESYSTEM not set).
I think this is saying I'm having some sort of conflict with mkdir. I tested mkdir in terminal, and it works fine. I think this might be a permissions error? This was a fresh install over a reclaimed windows ssd. I tried to reinstall and it's the same thing. There was an issue on bazzite that said it was an EFI issue on top of a previous install.
I did also notice that while running the setup for bazzite, I get an error that says "sunshine is installed" but then immediately "setup failed with exit code 1"Solution:Jump to solution
I tried a bunch of solutions, git init, going through permissions. I'm past the error after I tried
unset GIT_DIR
