why am I so bad at valorant?
Honestly, I can’t seem to play well in any rank. I played on my friend’s account, and he’s Bronze, but I lost three matches. When I played in Gold, I couldn’t win a single match. The same thing happened in Platinum. Why am I in Platinum if I can't even perform well in ranks lower than mine?
In my unrated matches, I constantly get Immortal and Diamond players, and we end up losing them all. My summer has been so boring, and VALORANT isn’t fun when if you don’t have friends to play with so getting kills is what makes it fun when im solo q, but I can’t even achieve that. In half of my games, no one talks—it's just dead silent. I don’t remember the last time I heard team communication.
My games always end up the same way: we might be winning by a high score like 8-3, and then the team suddenly loses focus in the second half, leading to a loss. This keeps happening. Either we start doing better after a rough first half but still lose, or we do well in the first half and then do horribly in the second half, ending in a loss.
When I get a good amount of kills and our team is doing well, my confidence rises, and I can play calmly. But when we start losing and I get killed in odd situations, I lose all my confidence. It’s hard to find people to play with who match my energy. Everyone I talk to just isn’t it, so I’m mostly solo queueing. What game can I really move to? I think I might just need a long break from this game, but I randomly find myself launching it again. I don’t know if anyone else feels like this right now, but I just can’t have fun in this game.
