I'm having this issue, too. I've found it's not a problem exclusive to Bazzite, but an issue with the Realtek audio driver, according to a few sites and reddit threads:

The fix for those on Windows seems to be downloading the Realtek audio driver from the Asus site
Problem is, that solution doesn't help us here on Bazzite. Is there an alternative Realtek driver we can load in Linux?
I've noticed that this happens when you dock while its on. Can you try this. While docked restart the ally and make sure you don't undock and try play a game
I'll give that a go tomorrow, when I have the TV to myself.
Seems this is true. Yesterday, I would be playing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for about two minutes, and the audio would start lagging. At first barely noticeable, but after about another minute, close to a two second delay.
Just now, I restarted my Ally X while docked, and played the same game for an hour and a half with no audio issues.
Yeah its a workaround that seems to work can be annoying tho because it does start delaying again if it goes back to sleep but at least its a bandage workaround if your planning to do a long session 😂
I hope there’s a fix in the works. So far that’s literally the only problem with using Bazzite on my Ally X. Even with this problem it’s still better than using Windows.
managed to pick up a steamdeck oled, did tests and didnt have this issue so I think its just a driver issue for the ally
