Suspend does not work. Will this guide still work on Bazzite?

My motherboard (Aourus B550i) has a quirk that doesn't allow my PC to sleep. This guide has worked for me in other distros (ChimeraOS). Is there something different I should do for Bazzite? https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/y7b97e/my_computer_wakes_up_immediately_after_i_suspend/isu99sr/

Is changing '/proc/acpi/wakeup' and making systemd scripts a thing I'm allowed to do with Bazzite/an atomic distro?
