this is right one
acc to me it should be a b c
bond energy decreased down thr group right
Bond energy of Cl2> bond energy of F2
Option A will be correct ig
Its multicorrect
Why so?
yeye this is right
as bong length increases, bond energy decreses and going down group bond length defo increases
ea increases from f to cl and then decreases hence incorrect
so bond energy down the group should increase
F ka size chota hone ke karn uske lp me repulsion bohot zayada rehta h islie BE kam ho jati h
nono decreases, it is inversely proprtional to bond energy
thats true for every case but as potato ji pointed out bond energy f2> cl2
okk sir, ill try my best to delve into details
Na decrease na
according to me also a and c
a bc fluorine has the highest EN and generally EN decreases down a grp
c bc IE decreases due to increase in the size
not d bc electron affinity of Cl is highest in its grp due to it's larger size
not b bc Fluorine has 3 lone pairs of electron tht give repulsion to the nucleus and decrease fluorine's bond energy (generally, in grp, bond energy decreases)..so in grp chlorine has the highest bond energy
if i m wrong with my conepts pls help me!👍
yeah
yeah i got the same understanding too
