Check Mouse Drivers: Ensure that your mouse drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to the manufacturer's website and downloading the latest drivers.
Replug the Mouse: Sometimes, simply unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in can resolve sync issues.
Try a Different USB Port: Plug your mouse into a different USB port to see if the issue persists.
Disable and Re-enable the Mouse: Go to Device Manager, find your mouse under "Mice and other pointing devices," right-click on it, and select "Disable device." Wait a few seconds, then right-click again and select "Enable device."
Adjust In-Game Settings: Check the in-game settings for any mouse-related options. Sometimes, adjusting settings like sensitivity or input method can help.
Check for Background Programs: Make sure there are no background programs that might be interfering with your mouse input. Programs like overlays or other software can sometimes cause issues.
Run the Game as Administrator: Right-click the game icon and select "Run as administrator." This can sometimes resolve permission-related issues that affect input devices.
Disable Mouse Acceleration: In Windows, go to the Control Panel, select "Mouse," and disable mouse acceleration in the Pointer Options tab.
Check Game Files: If you're using a platform like Steam, you can verify the integrity of the game files to ensure there are no corrupted files causing the issue.
Reinstall Mouse Software: If your mouse has dedicated software (like Logitech's G HUB or Razer Synapse), try reinstalling it.
drivers are up to date, game settings were still the same as last night and it had no issue, the only overlay i use is discord, overwolf and, spotify and had no issue few hours ago, mouse works fine anywhere but the game, mouse accleration is always off since the beginning 🫠 pc was running the whole night too with the same apps on so i have no idea which is interfering now
try windowed mode
have u restarted ur pc
Restart Discord, Overwolf, and Spotify: Sometimes, restarting these apps can resolve conflicts that arise when they've been running for an extended period.
Close Background Programs: Even though these programs weren't causing issues before, try closing them one by one to see if the mouse syncs with the game. Start with Discord, then Overwolf, and finally Spotify.
Restart Your Computer: A simple restart can resolve many temporary issues. Since your PC has been running all night, a reboot might help reset any lingering processes that could be causing the conflict.
Run the Game Without Overlays: Temporarily disable all overlays (Discord, Overwolf, and Spotify) and see if the mouse syncs correctly. You can re-enable them one by one to identify which might be causing the issue.
Check for Game Updates or Patches: Sometimes games release patches or updates that can cause unforeseen issues. Check if there's been a recent update and if there's a patch or workaround available from the game's support team or community.
Reinstall the Game: If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the game. There may be a corrupted file that's causing the mouse syncing issue.
Run a Malware Scan: It's a long shot, but sometimes malware can cause unexpected behavior. Running a quick scan with a trusted antivirus program can rule out this possibility.
Try a Different Mouse: If possible, try using a different mouse to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the mouse or something else.
Update Your Graphics Drivers: Sometimes, issues with peripherals can be indirectly related to outdated graphics drivers. Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date.
Check Power Settings: Ensure your PC isn't in a power-saving mode that might affect peripherals. Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options, and set it to High Performance.
even i tried windowed mode and it doesnt work
Did you try disabling Overwolf, Discord and Spotify overlays to see if that's causing the issue?
cant really check that anymore since i had to move back to uni earlier 🤷
