when i simply use tan alpha = y/x i get 45 degree But when i use bsintheta/a + bcostheta , i dont get 45 degrees Unable to find my mistake please help. Thanks...

Try to do this question as a projectile and taking acceleration 1 m/s^2 instead of g . Or break the motion into x and y components and try again Send you solution
