I need some help changing my login screen; I swear im not trolling it doesnt seem to be working for me

i go to sddm login screen under global theme
i click the change background on the breeze fedora
load image from file
then apply
entering the pass for sudo
and it only applies when you lock the screen
and not if you reboot
yep, it's a KDE feature
config exists in the read only part of the drive, there's an open issue w/ it at KDE from the Fedora atomic devs

i just tired locking the screen and its still that forest image
when i press the change background icon for breeze fedora on the login screen settings page it shows the image i loaded in.
its okay if its a known issue. I would ask if upstream can put in a cooler background 😂 bazzite themed would be cool
