Jacket recommendations
Hello, I'm looking for a jacket/coat to wear in winter, mostly for everyday use like walking to classes. I have a North Face jacket that's really similar to this (I couldn't find the exact model).
It's a hand-me-down and has started showing its age. It doesn't fit me anymore as I've lost some weight ever since getting it. There's also been a few times where it hasn't been warm enough for the walk to campus.
I got this bomber jacket from Old Navy a month or so ago. I know its probably not the best quality, but I liked how it looked and it was on sale for $35. I plan on wearing it during the fall. I'd like this second jacket to have a hood and be warmer for the winter.
I found this Patagonia jacket that's on sale, and I like how it looks in Pitch Blue, though I'm not 100% on the hood.
I live in central Missouri, so winters aren't the worst but it does snow. My price range is about $200, though I'm willing to go slightly above if its something I really like. I'm also fine waiting a bit for sales as it'll be a few months before it really starts getting cold. I'm also about 6'2'' and weight about 140-150, and wear a size M in t-shirts if it matters.

I've been very happy with my various Patagonia jackets. They are built to last. Patagonia is having a pretty good sale right now, and you can also find some good second-hand deals at https://wornwear.patagonia.com/

Yeah from looking at it something from Patagonia on sale or second hand seems to be my best bet. Didn't know about the Worn Wear thing, I'll check it out. Thanks!
