can you verify the ISO hash
the hashfile is found here when you have gone through the image selector to get the right iso for your system
and you can use 7zip (in windows) to check the hash of the downloaded iso (not sure how, but someone mentioned you could)
or the
sha256sum
command in linuxI redownloaded and verify the hash got a match, but still the same problem when booting frim usb
what happens if you type
normal
and press enterNothing, it just gives me the same
grub>
did you eject the usb before removing it from the machine after you flashed it?
or did you just rip it out?
Could finally get it to boot. I did it from a Macbook and everything worked now. I have no idea what was wrong before, I'm currently installing thanks for the help
probably lack of safely ejecting the usb
