buying burtle (japanese brand) in europe
I was looking to buy a burtle jacket, sadly buying from japan is nearly impossible: forwarding services i checked out charge nearly 100€ per package and due to the new import laws i'd have to pay taxes twice on my goods that would mean paying nearly 50% of the jacket's price in taxes, does anyone know a workaround or a reseller inside europe?

I'm not sure where you are looking that is charging you 100 euros to ship a package from Japan. I've had multiple items shipped from Japan to the UK for maybe a maximum cost of 40 euros.
You can look into using buyee, fromjapan or any of the other proxy services. Some will allow you to alter the shipping invoice however that's on you as the buyer and not advice from me.
As for where to buy within Europe I don't know, I've never heard of this particular brand before so can't offer any assistance there.
I think the shipping is so expensive due to the large battery in the jacket fan set
Oh yeh that would make stuff pretty expensive I guess. I didn't know this was a jacket with fans and a battery in it
