Trouble with fps

I recently factory reset my PC and now Valorant runs at 80 fps, whereas before formatting it, it was running at 300-400 fps, I don't know why that is. I have an Rx 6700XT gpu and a ryzen 5 5600g cpu with updated drivers.

Set your graphics settings to the same configurations you had before the reset. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Use software like HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner to check temperatures while gaming. In the Valorant launcher, go to Settings > Repair to verify and repair the game files. Go to Settings > Gaming > Game Bar and toggle off Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game Bar. In the same settings, go to Captures and toggle off Background recording. Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings > Advanced display settings and make sure the resolution and refresh rate are set correctly. Hopefully that helps let me know!

It looks like your RAM sticks have different specs, which could be affecting your FPS in Valorant. Here's a breakdown of what might be going on and some steps to fix it: Mismatched RAM Frequencies: One stick runs at 2400 MHz (DDR4-2400), and the other at 3200 MHz (DDR4-3200). Your system might default to the lower speed to keep things stable. XMP Profiles: Your first stick has an XMP profile that can boost it to 3200 MHz, but the second stick doesn't seem to have an active XMP profile. To improve performance: Enable XMP in BIOS: Restart your PC and enter BIOS (usually by pressing Del, F2, or Esc during startup). Find the XMP setting (usually in the overclocking or memory section) and enable it. This should help both sticks run at their maximum speeds if they’re compatible. Match Your RAM: Ideally, using two identical RAM sticks will give you the best performance. Mixing different types can cause issues. Check RAM Speed: Use a tool like CPU-Z to see what speed your RAM is currently running at. If it’s lower than expected, you might need to manually set it in BIOS to the highest speed both sticks can handle.
