When you press OK, do you crash?
it just closes out the game
Alr, can you do win+r and type
C:\Users\(your user)\AppData\Local\VALORANT\Saved\Crashes
Is there anything in there from today?no
Alr then go to \Saved\Logs instead and send the ShooterGame log here
theres several. do i just send the most recent one?
Yes
you don't see this icon in the tray?
no its not there at all
What about when you open Apps & programs (the Windows list), is it there?
it is there
let me try one more thing and ill get back to you in a second
alr
I recommend uninstalling vanguard and then the riot client should prompt you to reinstall it
Iβm restarting my pc rn
It said vanguard wasnβt a startup app so imma js relaunch it as a startup
Okay I think me not having it as a start up was the issue
Imma launch Val and see how it goes
alr
now it shows vanguard on my tray, im pretty sure it works
nvm
fuck
well at least now its easier to uninstall
you can right click it > More ... > uninstall
When you open the riot client, it'll reinstall it automatically (though you may need to restart your pc again first)
ah nvm i found where the logs are stored
What does the notification center do, now that you have the tray icon?
It shows up another error message
Iβll show you in a second, sorry for being inactive for a second
nah ur good
im gonan uninstall it rq
You can send the logs/error if you want first
The issue might persist if you reinstall but hopefully not
this is after i restarted
Its in a different place, thats mb
C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\Logs
its like, corrupted
oh
theyre intentionally obscured
LOL
hmmm
well, lmk what happens when you reinstall
it just brings us back to the first issue i had .-.
same error message
and vanguard isnt in my apps anymore
internets saying you need to enable secure boot in your BIOS...
ill figure it out later, ill just deal with it later. thank you for the help
GL
thank you
If it helps, if you open "System Information" it should tell you whether secure boot is on or off
If it's off, you need to turn it on because Valorant requires it as part of their anticheat
yo
already fixed?
I had the same issue and fixed it like 10 mins ago
if u want i can help
uhh

Still same error?
VAN9005?

Iβm trying to figure that out
What cpu do you have
Uhh
Let me check
Amd Ryzen 7 2700x eight core
I lowkey js opened up a yt tut to see if that works
go into ur bios turn on ITPM
