you are not providing enough info
where are you trying to update it
archlinux distrobox, ubuntu box, fedora box?
on the host itself?
I’m on the steam deck image for bazzite non gnome version
why do you need to do this?
because you really can't
fedora will provide the update
The fallout London downgrader needs a newer version of OpenSSL
That's a shame lol. well this is a stretch but maybe this can be ran in a distrobox container
like arch or something
that should have a newer openssl but like idk how this application works
seems like 3.3.1 is the latest which is what we have on bazzite https://github.com/openssl/openssl/releases

This is what keeps happening when I run the program
so actually you want to downgrade openssl
Is their a way to downgrade
no
and I tried running it in a distrobox and had the same issue
the linux version is just badly made
run the windows downgrader in wine, works the same
How do I configure wine to detect hidden files
try this in
winecfg
It doesn’t show all the files/folders in the hidden folders
z:/var/home/user/
and then you'll see it
or should at least
Which wine version did you use, I enabled show dot files and it doesn’t show anything I used winecfg and winetricks
I ran it in the same prefix as fallout
How do I fix this
secondary concern - this also depends on how you are running the .exe file
