How to use gamemoderun to disable trackpad when I start a game?
I know I can go into settings and disable the track pad but I'd rather have gamemoded do it for me. What's the best way to do this?

we dont use gamemoderun (everything done by it optimization wise is handled by the automatic scheduler so people dont have to
gamemoderun
everything), also is this a laptop, handheld, desktop with touchpad, smartfridge and what image are you on? maybe provide an rpm-ostree status
🙂
at least that will give some info so people can help you (i wont be able to help much with this since i have no laptop to test this with)
but i am going go to out on a whim and say maybe steamtinkerlaunch might be able to help? not sure though, not used it in agesIt's a laptop. On other distros I've been able to just write a small script to disable/enable the track pad when I start and stop a game. This is on Bazzite KDE

you can still run gamemoderun i believe and it will work like it always does
/usr/local
is writable, same with /etc
i have never used scripts with gamemoderun so if you need to put anything there you can
