Request for info really.
Do I need to really plug in a keyboard to create disk / user in the install.
Is there no easier way?
Sorry should have mentioned installing on handhelds, also not a moan but consideration.

Bazzite Inital Setup and Installation for Handheld PCs
Re-download the ISO at your convenience. Yesterday the new batch had issues that were fixed later on.
readily available under the download link
so yes
for msi claw?
any handheld
installer has no touch keyboard yet, and anaconda is really really temperamental to work with.
as a heads up though, msi claw probably won't be a good experience with bazzite
no TDP controls, controller support hasn't been tested, etc
but if you do have an MSI claw and are willing to volunteer to help fix issues, it can help make bazzite support it better
fyi, working mostly on chimera apart from controller, it acts like a mouse
...probably
i don't think hhd does TDP control on intel chipsets
you'd have to rely on the PowerControl decky plugin for Intel TDP controls
since I think it supports intel

as for controller support, it's never been tested on bazzite, so I don't think it'll work
or at least, not well
sorry for my ignorance, i've tried downloading the other handheld image, but still need a keyboard to install (create disk / user)
all Bazzite images require a physical keyboard/mouse to install
the installer has no touch keyboard (yet)
what installer
the Bazzite OS installer
Will we have these features in the new WebUi Anaconda?
we are hoping we might be able to do something with it since it is all css and stuff
unlike the current anaconda installer
webUI has no keyboard
maybe in the future, definitely no time soon
a physical keyboard is a hard requirement
thats fine, just letting you know my first impressions
how much work would a prefilled installer be, a "i have no keyboard/dock" iso until we can get a touch keyboard?
