is this allowed?
So I know that to get oraxen for ‘’free’’ you have to compile it yourself but can you just grab an already compiled one from one of the GitHub forks?

Yeah. But you will not receive support from devs
And try to compile it by yourself, who knows what inside those forks
yeah you're signing up for trouble if you just blindly download binaries that someone else compiled.
why not just read the license?
