i picked illinois and ONLY illinois and next thing you know im in a comp game in a georgia server. Game just ended, i check the regions i picked and it still says i only got illinois picked, how do i prevent this from happening again where it brings me to a random server i dont even have picked

im not for sure if this is real but ive heard isf ur queue goes past a certain time it will try different servers
it does say in game that preferences are not guaranteed. if the matchmaking cannot find you a game in the server you have selected (at last in a reasonable time), it will start looking for games on other servers
