Inmain Mn Cr and vanadium ka Oxidation state nikalo, then read the definitions of oxidation and reduction(wrt no. of electrons), oxidising and reducing agent and power.

V ka +5 , Cr ka +6 , Mn ka +7 They all r oxidising agents But how to compare their oxidising Power ?

+7 ka matlab batao What does +7 indicate

+7 highest oxidation state of Mn Making it : ...2p6 3d0 4s0

Does it indicate the no. If electrons it can displace? Oxidation is the loss of electrons, oxidising power is the ability to gain electrons. The more the oxidation state, more the oxidising power

oxidising power matlab saamne wale ko kitna oxidize kar sakta hai ie khud kitna reduce ho sakta hai reduction is gain of electrons there +7 is very good oxidising power , is my logic correct>

what u have stated here is right i need clarity on what exactly the q is asking, the given soln just confused me more i think they are asking why oxidising power is increasing but not sure

Yes Hmmm The question is asking for the order Why exactly is this the order in oxidising Power

Metals having higher oxidation state are oxidising agent and metals in low oxidation state are good reducing agent

But all are in their respective highest oxidation states
