The visual is fake
what you get is already determined the instant you press the button to open a crate
you can tell by looking at your aether or credits count when you open a crate and watch it go up before the spinner thing even finishes rolling
lots of games do this, and it serves as a way to get people to think "Oh dang, I almost got it that time! Maybe I'll get it next roll!" And then they roll again, and again, and again, and again, while spending more robux/credits.
