faster implies time ie kinetics so e2 seems to make sense. But yea will have to check generally e1 sn1 are thermodynamically limited ie they have enough time to achieve stability my polar protic solvent e1 it is so yea tertiaryy carbon + rxn conditions would make it e1 rxn 1
