Icons are missing
What did you do before the icons went missing
I've had that happen to me before. Open the file manager (Gnome Files or Dolphin in KDE). Press CTRL+H. Rename or delete the .cache folder. It will rebuild the icon thumbnails. if you had the same issue as me then your icons will magically work again.
