Valorant too long to load up
Now my game used to be fine back in the day (I'm talking 2023) but then somehow VALORANT decided to ruin the game's optimization/compatibility. My game takes too long to load and I always spend a good 2 or 3 minutes stuck on the agent select screen. Then I proceed to the next screen.
But in case somebody dodges or just quits during agent selection, my game freezes which means when the game finds me another match, I dodge because the game is frozen which ultimately leads me to receive dodge penalties.
I know I'm not the only one with this issue. I've seen many live streams on TikTok where they had the same issue. Also a friend of mine. What do WE do to get around this issue? Thanks xx

This also happens to me all the time, i just installed and started playing like three days ago and since the moment I first opened the game the loading screens have taken to much time to load. This causes me to be stuck in the first rounds and other times I am kicked from the match. I think that it is probably caused by Vanguard because when I first installed it I didnt see that Vanguard was opened, then I reinstalled it and I selected it to open at startup but my game still freezes.
I have a not that good pc but still the game runs pretty good at 40-50 fps, its just the loading screens that are really affecting my game experience. I am getting penalized for being afk at matches that I dont even get to play because Im waiting at the stuck loading screen. I have searched for many hours the cause and all I could find was to make the game run at better fps by installing it at the SSD (which I dont have).
my game was like that a cpuple times for 4 reasons:
Need to restart your wifi router
restart pc
delete unused extra files ondrive and empty recycle bin
or if you have screen recorders make sure you completly exit out of that app or it won't start your game
that or check your graphics driver
let me know if none of those work
Yes this is exactly what's happening. I get penalties every time it's frustrating
Nice. Somebody in the enemy team dodged here so now my game is stuck on this screen for 3-5 minutes which means I dodge the next queue as well.
I'm sorry if I sound dumb by saying this but why cant VALORANT do something about this?
The game used to be fine back when I started playing until I took a break (May 2022-September 2023), but then some update came out which ruined the game's compatibility with thousands of PCs. Not just mine this
At least, is there any settings option to disable the auto queue after somebody dodges?
