Valorant freezes whole pc
Hey guys, i recently got a new pc. Whenever I alt tab from the game a few times, it freezes my whole pc to the point where I have to hold down the power button on the case. Does anyone have a fix other than turning off hardware accelerated gpu scheduling?

I had this aswell and disabled hardware accelerated graphics and it fixed mygame freezing when alt tabbing

yeah but i dont really want to do that because it lowers performance, and apperently can damage the gpu

Did a bit of research on it, and also checked out what other people said about it on Reddit. If you disable it it’s not gonna wreck your pc, but in the long run it’s not really great for your gpu. It essentially boosts performance on games, especially in more demanding ones, however there are a few bugs especially if you have w11 installed, on older games, and in Valorant aswell as you already know. So it’s best to have it enabled especially if you care about performance and fps.
