I've decided to be more thoughtful about how I look, so here are some outfits I've worn. I'm curious to hear your feedback on what I can improve, what worked well, and what didn't. I like both street style and smart style.

boots will be a nice option for smarter looks and can be dressed down and maybe some black trousers for the same reason. and if youre comfortable with it maybe different cuts like wider fitting tops, and pants that will break fully on to your sneakers? but yeah overall some nice stuff you got a good foundation. im not a big fan of the third pic the grey blazer with olive pants seems strange to me.
Bought new loafers today, my first ones! Next, I’m planning to look for some beige Chelsea's.
What do you mean by wider tops? Are you referring to the very last pic with cargo pants? Something like that?
Yeah, it looked bad to me too and felt uncomfortable wearing that. Decided to post unsuccessful fits too.

by wider tops I just meant like oversized tshirts, shirts,jackets, coats but only if you like it lol
this is the widest I have, perhaps I could try an oversized jacket with that, or similar shirts but with long sleeves
thats a nice fit im not big on the pattern but thats just me so ignore that lol. what I would also say is you can try and play with different type of fits so like a slimmer fitting top and baggy trousers and see how that looks. but i think youre doing everything right if you are still building your wardrobe just take your time I was rushing and I ended up selling a lot of the stuff.
so this is what I mean by wide trousers slim top you see how theres a contrast in the sillouhette and it gets wider could try that ?

oh that looks nice, you actually gave me an idea, I didn't know what to do with these pants that I got on sale from jcrew
and I need to get comfortable with having different proportions on my fits
you could also look into higher rise pants too but these are more the things I like so just try and experiment theres so many different things that make a pair of pants, or jacket that can completely tranform the look so just be willing to experiement the server does have inspo page too I havent used it though lol, I normally just watch youtube fashioon vids but pintrest could also help with some inspo too

they look nice tbh could try tucking the top in think that would look good too, think of colours that pair well with green (red, brown, orange, blue) also when trying a fit the shoes you wear really does make a change I would probs wear those slim white sneakers you got the pants would fall nicely on the shoe

these are alright fits - i do agree with potentially getting wider pants - but i think the most impactful thing is figuring out what you want vs what i can define of a nebulous style
both 'smart' and 'streetwear' are broad terms so it may help to focus on specific fits you really like to inform what to try next

nope, I wasn't trying to achieve something specific
never wore wider pants before, need to get comfortable with them, it's just I always feel like wearing something different depending on my mood or occasion (buying grocerins, rainy weather, ect.)
can I define my style somehow? don't know. some of it falls into starboy aesthetic maybe, but sometimes I have business meetings where I need to look smart
