Upgrading HDD to SSD help run Valorant?
I’ve had Valorant since closed beta and had no problem running it, up until last year 2023 where it started getting slower loading times until I couldn’t even load into the game. I also found out that Valorant is not optimized for HDD either which my laptop runs on. Does anyone know if I upgrade my laptop HDD to an SSD would it run Valorant and actually let me play?
I use a Acer Nitro 5 AN515-42 R5ED which isn’t the best but I’m too lazy to get a better pc or waste my money on a gaming laptop.

i think its time to leave the laptop behind buddy
Upgrading to an ssd is a big improvement overall, ur also just future proofing urself if u have new gen ssd
Even running on a potato ssd loads valorant faster than hdd but ofc its more pricey than hdd
yes
trust me vro ssd is totally worth it
If it's an older hdd it might just be fragmented
You can run a defragmentation thing and it will help
Although upgrading will just be better, but I just want to let you know just in case you don't want to spend the money
