Camper Derbies
Thoughts on these from Camper? They're currently 50% off so only 92€, harmless at worst right?
The pink rubber part is silly but it's removable so I could also wear it more casual.
I don't have any shoes in this style yet as of rn and I'm curious 🙂

Forget that they are on sale. Would you still pay 92€ for them?
oh yeah
I mean any stitched leather shoe is worth more than that in my mind
I'm just wondering if there's anything on these that stands out in a negative or positive way to all the experts we have here hehe (without the pink on)
And also what y'alls past experiences with camper have been
can't really afford something like paraboots rn and came upon these
🙂
someone was mentioning recently that prices on secondhand paraboots seem to be low lately.
it might be worth keeping an eye out
I'm not trying to dissuade you from buying these necessarily...I have no knowledge of Camper one way or the other.
Camper is cool
Seems a good price
ty
honestly I think it's psychological, I really like these but then I see they're sitting on their website in all sizes while their other colorways and the loafer version are sold out so I'm like "there has to be something uncool about these right?"
they probably... just have more stock because dark brown is the most versatile
😂
I'll get em
Camper is cool
I have camper shoes
Quality is meh but they’re the only ones doing what they’re doing
I’d only get these if you want the pink caps
Otherwise I’d get like klemens
Actually the price is very good
So yes I’d recommend
how's sizing in your experience?
Comparing their sizing charts so sneakers sizing charts they're quite different
I'm a 42 in nikes and adidas
No clue I’ve never owned nike or adidas, and the specific model of shoe I got was supposed to fit large
like for example here's the chart on nike's website and camper's website
if I go by strictly cm that means I should get a 41
I have no clue
I've inspected these shoes in store and they have pretty poor sole rigidity so I imagine they could get a bit uncomfortable after a while. If a shoe has a raised heel like this you want the midfoot portion to be rigid so your foot is supported across its whole length rather than just the bits that touch the ground. Some Camper shoes are great for this like the Traktori boots but others not so much.
didnt end up getting them
saw some reviews online that discouraged me
ty for the advice yall
what was the review
if it’s quality you’re looking for I don’t think camper is it but you can always look at klemens or g h bass that both sell tylorean shoes
just looking on trustpilot it seems hundreds and hundreds of people in the last 2 years had the same issue of the rubber outsole breaking/crumbling after some time.
Also, thinking about it if I get brown shoes I'd want leathery-looking leather, super smooth "corrected" leather is fine for black shoes but here I don't think it's the look I want to go for if that makes any sense
Fair yeah it looks better in black from them and yeah my rubber outsole has cracked
oh damn you too??
how long did it take
lol a couple months
There’s a huge chip
But I don’t really care
