Vanguard Anticheat Kernel Access?
I was wondering whether I should worry about the Vanguard anticheat being so invasive to the point it needs to access kernel AT ALL TIMES, meaning it could theoretically control your whole computer.
Could someone calm me down about the situation? Also considering Riot is owned by a Chinese company this seems like some sort of dystopian stuff I don't enjoy being in...

I can assure you nothing will happen. Why? Because none of their other games had any issues for over 15 years. Vanguard only checks files, it doesnt override anything nor install anything other than... well vanguard.
You can turn it off, just restart before you play valorant so you can launch.
you can exit vanguard, it doesnt have to be open 24/7.
