Bootstrap button color not overriding.
I am trying to customize bootstrap button with scss
the problem though is when i set $primary variable the variables like $btn-link-color and $btn-link-hover-color is not working, i had set the primary color to #ffb600 (yellowish color) the text inside the btn-primary becomes black but i want it white also i want on hover the background to be black and text should be that primary color (yellowish)

I really want to know what's going on inside bootstrap
why it is not overriding variables with mine
or should i use direct btn-primary class direct to override it but think that's not a good choice
I am not familiar with bootstrap but the one hint I can provide is I know that bootstrap uses !important quite a bit. Take a look in the dev tools and if you still need help post your code in https://codepen.io. people can't help much with "it doesn't work"
