am i allowed to use surfshark vpn to try and make my ping stable
so i usually play on 80 90 ping on capetown but now its 101 and its red which is making me feel bad so can i try using a paid vpn?

VPN doesn't change lag. Restart your router, if you are using Ethernet check if the cable is plugged in properly.
Sometimes you can just get lag spikes, it should go down eventually.

VPN can fix routing issues between ISPs. Before you go spend the money with a paid VPN, give Cloudflare's free WARP VPN a try

i tried a vpn right
and it disconected me out of my game
completely
then when i off the vpn and restart the game i get reconnected
you should run the vpn before you start the client
