Long Term Aim Issue
I’ve found that I have this issue where, I pop off around the first half. Usually getting 3-4ks, and I do pretty well. However in the later half I always managed to miss my shots, it’s like I forgot how to aim. Could there be some mental thing that’s happening, or is it possibly inconsistency? Because if it were inconsistency, I don’t understand how I consistency frag out in the first half. If this is a mental or a consistency thing, what can I do to fix it?

its most likely a mental thing
or your just getting burnt out
usually, the longer the match goes on, the more stressed you get
so youre probably just feelings the effects of that
just go into the game with the goal of improving yourself instead of winning
and also dont play too many games in a row
take a break every few games and do something else
Alright gotcha. Thank you!
I’ve jsut been really concerned because it isn’t even just games where this occurs but also practice range and deathmatches. For some reason I hit all of my shots like there isn’t any problem but then just forget how to aim. Which to me is really weird because no matter what I’ve tried to do so far nothing can keep me consistent.
How would I go about doing do that?
I’m also suspecting it could be due to autopilsting because it feels like my brain just shuts off, but that I don’t know how to fix either
it will improve over time since youre changing your mindset instead of a physical aspect of the game
i would recommend recording your games and vod reviewing some of them, just to know what mistakes you make and go into games focusing on fixing the mistakes
the autopiloting often comes from being burnt out so make sure to take breaks
for the inconsistencies in practise in deathmatch, it can come from you wanting to win or get a higher score instead of improving
sometimes you can feel like youre hitting more and harder shots in deathmatch compared to comp, which happens because there is less pressure in dm
just treat the game like a game and focus on yourself instead of winning
still help your team tho, just dont put too much pressure on yourself to win
@Quesuki at half time reset. Think "ok this game just stared again"
Oh I see
Oh wow this goes deeper than I expected, you have really good points here
Yhank you so much
That could unironically work
I do that. If we're winning by 1 or smth I'm like "it's first to 13, we get a headstart let's go win this" its close but u can make urself feel better
And when ur losing u just think that it's just 1 or smth rounds
I got good mental but can't aim for my life so I'm iron lmao
Fair, thank you for the advice everyone I’ll apply it
