I can't type Chinese characters using the steam keyboard
unless the steam virtual keyboard supports Chinese it is not something we can fix since we are not valve, we do not control steam sadly

did some checking around, might be something steam has to fix as it apparently does not even work in steamos 🤔

we do provide fcitx with bazzite by default so you should not have to add that i believe.
dont think it will work using the steam keyboard still though as that is something valve will have to fix, im not familiar with typing out CJK characters, but i know ibus or the newer fcitx is used for it

you can try utilize fcitx which is included

we have fcitx5-chinese-addons which you can enable using
fcitx5-configtool
and set fcitx as the virtual keyboard input in kde
since we dont know chinese i dont know if it includes all the chinese inputI can't type Traditional Chinese using the steam virtual keyboard
and i ask, did you try enable fcitx virtual keyboard in input settings on the kde desktop and configure it using
fcitx5-configtool
and see if that lets you type in traditional chinese?My desktop environment is GNOME
