Actually my doubt is simple, why does the Hydrogen atom simply leave?
My think the anionic part of the acid that gave the H+ at first takes the H that's leaving in the end to make the pi bond, is this correct
So we can say H+ can simply leaves in acidic medium if required, so similar can we say -OH grp can also simply leave in basic medium as OH(-) ?
