Problems with booting Bazzite-Deck on older hardware
Hello everyone, I'm already sorry for this much text....
I was setting up a "HTPC" with my old hardware and wanted to use the Bazzite-Deck image to play Steam- and older Retrogames. But with the Deck Image i couldn't get the system to boot properly. I was always stuck at the boot, had to press ctrl+alt+f2 to bring up the terminal and log in. Afterwards I was able to start "wayland" separately and then got to the desktop.
As I don't have this problem with the normal Bazzite image, and the requirements say, you need a "modern AMD graphics" for the Deck version. I was wondering if this problem is because of the hardware I used. But I wasn't able to find information on how modern the graphics need to be, although I expect mine to be to old.
My System:
AMD A10 7850K
iGPU (Radeon R7 graphics)
16 GB DDR3 Ram
Asus Motherboard, A68HM-Plus
Already tried some things, but also wasn't able to rebase to a Fedora 39 release (think because of the changed keys?) so I ended up using the recent normal image.
Any chances to get this running on such older hardware?
