Made in Macau PRL Sport Coat quality
I've been meaning to buy an identical jacket as this:

What's the general consensus about PRL tailoring? Specifically those outsourced to Macau?

Vintage polo is great, don't worry too much about where things are made. This is a cool jacket
Thanks! If I may add, are prl tailoring usually canvassed? My google search results only pointed towards made in italy jackets being half canvassed though not much info regarding other jackets
have heard mostly good things about made in macau PRL
i can't speak to the canvassing of all PRL but the ones i've seen on ebay have largely been canvassed
Thanks Zeo!
The jacket I'm intending to buy looks like its been stomped to hell and back
Kinda worried about longevity, so that's why I made this post
cord is a durable fabric; it mostly needs the lapel pressed
whether you do that at home or get a dry cleaner to do it is up to you
beat to shit cord looks great
I wouldn't pay $80 for that, given the damage to the corduroy. In general, I haven't worried too much about quality of secondhand PRL, or where it's made. It seems pretty consistently good, as long as you get a good price, which I would say is $50-75 for a blazer.
Oh, I just placed the ebay link there for reference. The jacket I'm buying sells for only $14 in the local currency (still a lot tbh)
Yeah, I found the look charming really.
Thanks everyone! I just bought it
