Thoughts on opening Velocity/Folia server?
Currently running a 1.20.4 server and I've been thinking about adding Velocity to the server. Has anyone tried this? If so, what are the pros and cons as compared to (currently running) no proxies?

Velocity isnt a mc server
its a proxy
you still need to run a paper etc server behind it
Folia is very not recommended to be ran
huge hardware recommendations, no benefit for a fair few servers etc
and way less plugins
Oh sorry, I don't know much but its similar to Bungeecord right? If so, is it recommended to just retain no proxy?
