Yup. It's a systems language so you should be able to get performance comparable to C for basically any algorithm
I'll second Ryulord, Mojo isn't that great at IO right now but we have a lot of people trading blows with Intel MKL numpy for raw computational performance even with the compiler in a beta state. Mojo is a general purpose systems language that is using AI hype to fund its development.
