Enchantments not combining
Why when i try to combine an efficiency 6 book with a pickaxe with efficiency 5, it stays efficiency 5?

I assume this is Paper?

Check whatever your max level enchantment is. Default that fucker stays at 5, but some mods like Apotheosis can bring it higher.
where? in the paper config or something?
also i dont use mods in the server itself

issue is most enchantment plugins are either not good, laggy or paid, registry changes has made it very easy to edit enchants now but needs a bit of coding experience
i used the minecraft command generator
and skript, those arent enchants, those are lores
well yeah, you cant combine them tho
theres a max
how can i change the max then
using code and a paper plugin
and how do i do that i dont know coding 😦
you can use a datapack aswell
but not sure of one that just increases limit
