Mic isnt working

Hi im looking for help in fixing my mic issues. My mic is enabled in settings and party and voice chat are enabled and keybinded properly but it doesnt work? recently i downloaded outplayed and used it and my mic was working fine but the next day it stopped working but seems to be activating but now it just has a cross over it and even tho it says its enabled it doesnt work
