Changing programs
Hi guys I'm currently in computer programming and analysis program in Markham campus starting in september. But I'm thinking about changing my program cuz I heard a lot of students saying It's the worst campus. What program would you do instead? Thanks

There's a new computer science program that takes 3 years to complete, same as CPA. I would take that or wait to.
yeah I checked but it seems they are not offering the courses. is that right?
wait for what?
thanks
should i go for it?
and how long does it take usually to hear back
Idk man read and apply. It's a new program.
Should be a contact info somewhere on there that you can contact for more info
yeah I just realized yesterday how long it's been around?
they recently added it, hence why it's a new program

you need coop to graduate
in bcms
yeah it says mandatory. is that a downside?
because i see everyone is struggling to land coop in cpa i thought maybe that would be solved
if you've build projects and your portfolio before you start applying for co-op, you would be able to get one
as it's what makes you stand out from the other applicants
you're right but i thought you don't need to be worry about it then if it's mandatory
i don't know how it works sorry if my question is so stupid
i believe if you weren’t able to get a co-op from any company or organization, seneca would give you one at their campus
but im not sure if that’s true
I called the service desk they are saying I can't transfer for this first semester because I'm international and have my addmission in cpa so i have to do 1 semester cpa then apply to transfer
you guys think they are gonna transfer me after 1 semester? what should i do
well, if they say that you could, then yeah
all you can do is do your first semester in cpa and transfer
i don’t think withdrawing from the program and applying to the program the semester after would be wise
i mailed them and they said pathways are not built/approved until 1-2 years after a degree startsđź’€
so the only way i can get in is to drop cpa and apply for computer science?
Well I am not going to take it but I did receive BCMS as a alternate selection for my CPP AND CPA application
It would be re assessment on academic requirement but there is nothing stopping you I guess
